Why does all the fun start just in time for the end of the semester??

Well my 4th semester here at BYU-Idaho has been pretty fun, but the fun just started really picking up with only a couple weeks left. I hate how I always feel soooo bored in the middle of the semester and am counting down the days till I can go home, but then when the end is finally here I don't want to leave! I guess I can just never be fully satisfied. Well this was a crazy week/weekend and full of fun times...here is just a quick little list of the things that I did:

-went to the "Ultimate Idol" semi-finals (the campus is doing an "American-Idol" type contest with text-in voting and everything!

-went to the school Planetarium with my science class-actually super fun surprisingly. I wish I could sleep in there though cause the stars look so cool!

-got a free LARGE Jamba Juice-regularly like $5! (after two long semester I finally finished my smoothing punch card)

-Went to "Monkey Rock"- a college hot spot for bridge jumping and playing in this little water fall-we found a snake and I got almost got swept away forever in a current. I even floated by this little fisherman boat which instead of offering assistance to me just said "oh look a mermaid" as I rushed on by...luckily I was able to grab onto a rock and climb out just as my friend Zach (a former lifeguard) was coming to rescue me. thanks anyways.

-went to EXTRAVADANCE-it was a "Night of Broadway" featuring awesome dance numbers from "Singing In The Rain", "Hairspray" and a bunch more. (really made me miss my dancing days)

-went to Applebee's with a group of friends

-went to the Idaho Falls Mall, picked out my future 1 and 3/4 karat engagement ring-then went to Olive Garden (with the same group of friends haha)

-covered Zach's car with roughly 9 rolls of saran-wrap (thats how I thank people for trying to save my life at Monkey Rock apparently haha)

-On Saturday was one of the subjects of and helped with a photo shoot for Zach's photography class project (we recruited a ton of people for random portraits-same fun group)

-went to the Sand Bar (another swimming spot with a diving board, a water slid and more rapids) after that with that same group-it was a realllly hot day but started pooring on the way there. But in Idaho you just wait 5 minutes and the weather will change, it did so we got out and had fun. I scraped a big chunk of skin out of my foot on a rock and went down some more scary rapids.

-then we all got cleaned up and went to Crago's to eat (same group as Olive Garden and Applebee's hahaha-everyone hates cooking at the end of the semseter)

-then we all went back to our place to watch a movie and finished off the night at Sonic getting drinks and having a dance party in their parking lot

Such a GREAT week-even with all my injuries and near death experiences. (sorry mom and dad I prob shouldn't tell you about those...oh well)
