2. I LOVE music! That was the inspiration for my blog title. I love lyrics, and I love going to concerts and finding new bands and new music that is not well known. It is something that my sister Reagan and I bond well over. We love sharing music with eachother and going to concerts together. I also have a lot of friends that I quote lyrics with.
3. I 3. I hate “bumpits”. Unfortunately I see wayyyy too many of them out here in Idaho while I’m at school. Everytime I see such big hair I daydream about taking a pencil and poping it and watching it deflate but then I realize that that probably would not work because there is an entire can of hair spray on it. Just don’t bump it. please.
4. I love basketball. My dad started coaching me when I was little and all through my youth years. I played in high school but didnt have that much fun (except on the trip we took to San Diego). I had a much better time playing in the Fall Church community league on a team that went undefeated 2 years and where I won a sportsmanship/mvp award and we had some awesome fans
5. I love Tom Welling. Alot. He is quite attractive and as soon as his wife dies or something we are going to get married and have lots of beautiful children. Hopefully this all happens soon. That is all.
6. I 6. I love Disney! I was obsessed with The Little Mermaid when I was little (watched it literally 5 times a day), I love going to Disney World, I love their Disney Channel Original Movies and still watch alot of the shows they play (except zack and cody which i can not stand). And for the record I think alot of people still watch that channel even when they are older (and like it) but just dont like to admit it. Don't deny it, you still watch.
7. Most of you probably know I am quite fond of cookies. I learned to make them by myself at the age of 5 and have been making them practically everyday since. I made them alot my first semester in college and my roommates started calling them "Brookies". Chocolate Chip all the way.
8. I absolutely love watching movies. I rarely leave the movie theater disappointed (except when I saw cloverfield off the top of my head) and I could literally quit school and watch movies all day and not get bored. Which I have seriously considered once or twice.
9. I love the rain and foggy, overcast weather. I like the sound it makes and the misty feel. I don't know why I like it so much but its probably because it is good weather to stay inside and watch movies during.
10. One career path that I really want to look in to is the person that watches shows and writes the little summary that pops up when you hit the info button on your DVR. I don’t really know what the name of that job is but I wanna find out and I want to pursue it. It would be the best job ever to watch Spongebob or something all day and write a little sentence summing up each episode.
11. Another job that I am considering is being the dancing banana for Jamba Juice. I adore Jamba Juice, and I am amused by that people wearing the banana suits dancing on the street advertising for them so I think if they just paid me in Juice then this could work out well.
12. If the TV job doesnt work out I want to teach elementary school grades K-3. I love little kids and I love teaching them. I taught a preschool class in high school that I loved, I run a summer camp for kids every summer, I have 5 younger siblings, and worked with little kids in basketball clinics and a daycare center. So I have alot of experience in this department and its something I have always loved.
13. One of my dreams as a little kid was to have a family like the Brady Bunch. Yes, that is correct. I love to watch re-runs of it when I was little and I wished I could be Marcia. And my dream kinda came true because there are 3 boys and 3 girls in my family just like the Brady Bunch and I think it is pretty awesome.
14. My biggest pet peeve is crunching loudly on food and being a messy eater. eww just thinking about it makes me grossed out and I also hate feet. They are ugly and smell. (me and megan sanders-smith share these same feelings about feet)
15. I am allergic to milk and I puff up like Will Smith on the movie Hitch when he eats some seafood or something. I have had to go the emergency room a couple of times when a reaction gets pretty bad and I look like Mulan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame had a kid for a few days afterwards...yet many people still think it is hilarious to offer me glasses of milk and such. (like I haven’t heard that one before…)
16. I am really organized. I love to know where everything is and make sure everything is in its place, but I do let my room get messy sometimes when I'm really busy
17. I love to stay up late and sometimes all night just for fun. (I did this many times my first semester of college with my buddy leah watching spanish soap operas and animal planet.) These are the times I wish I was a Vampire so that I didn't have to sleep ever
18. I love dancing and I used to take lessons for many years. I did mostly ballet and other various types off and on. I love to perform as long as I don’t have to speak.
19. I love my parents. I love my dad he is pretty cool sometimes but he thinks he’s cool all the time. but I still love him. I love talking politics with him and sometimes when he makes me listen to his talk radio shows I don’t comepletely hate it. I also love my mom. She is my best friend. I love going shopping with her and watching Lost and Psych with her and learning from her. She is extremely patient. She is exactly what I hope to be someday as a mother.
20. I have always been close to my aunt Christine because when I was in kindergarten she was a senior in high school and we were all living in the same house. I used to sneak into her room and try on all her shoes and play in her makeup. I tried to put everything back where I found it but she always caught me because I forgot to close the door when I left. She has always been someone I look up to and tried to be more like throughout my life. She has and always will be my “big sis”.
21. I guess I am a hopeless romantic. I love to watch movies and read books where the boy gets the girl and they live happily ever after. I wish that those things happened more in real life and just like any other girl I want a night in shining armor, but I'm not holding my breath…except maybe for Tom Welling.
22. I love little random acts of kindness or thought-fullness and they make my day. Just a text or a note to see how I'm doing or even a smile or hello always makes me feel good. It sounds cheesy but I like the simple things in life. Like when I was little my mom would pack my lunch and write a little note on my napkin sometimes and I loved it. A little bit goes a long way so thank you to all you that have done something like that for me at some point.
23. I love pictures and putting them in scrapbooks to look back at years later and remember all the fun times you have had.
24. I love family beach trips with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents on my dad's side. Just sitting around talking and eating and making traditions with them is always awesome.
25. I love getting to go and see my mom’s side of the family out west. We used to go to Utah every summer to visit when I was younger and we would get to see the farm where my Mom grew up. It is so fun to because it is so different out there then the area where I grew up. I don’t get to see that family as often but when I do it is always a ton of fun.
26. I love chicken tenders and order them at every single restaurant I go to if them have them. They are dependable and satisfying every time.
27. I have acquired a couple nicknames over the years such as Brookester, BrookeStar, Goose, B, BP, and Dominator (thanks jason johnson) but my favorite is Brookie and I love when people call me that. It is funny to me that some people that I wouldn't think would call me Brookie do, but I like it! if that makes any sense.
28. I love reality shows and competition shows like Project Runway, and all those dance competition shows and I like intense shows like Lost and Smallville (cause my husband Tom Welling stars in it) and Supernatural. I also like all the cooking shows on Food network and I like detective shows like Monk and Psych...so basically I watch alot of TV or at least TiVo it and stay up late watching what I have TiVoed.
29. I like working (sometimes haha) and I have had a lot of random odd jobs, but I like earning money and being self-sufficient. I hope to be able to pay my own way through college and be debt-free when I graduate.
30. I am big nerd. I have an inhaler and I love Star Wars and Lord of the Rings and such. But how can you not like Luke Skywalker (I even have brother named Luke....sort of unofficially named after him) and of course Hayden Christiansen with that attractive scar above his eye as Anikan Skywalker before he turns into Darth Vader.
31. I want to have a big family in the future. I used to say I wanted 8 kids, but after my job at the Sport and Health day-care center I am re-thinking that plan. I still do love the movie Cheaper by the Dozen though and think that looks like a lot of fun! (again my man Tom is in this movie.)
32. I love Super Heros. I don’t read the comic books or anything, but I love all the movies they have now about them. My favorites include Wolverine (Hugh Jackman is a fox), Spiderman and Batman (Christian Bale. 'nuff said.) and the Hulk because when I was little I thought that our family friend Jason Johnson was him and that that was his real name. And of course Tom Welling plays Superman on the show Smallville.
33. I love my religion and my church. It has given me alot of direction in my life and instilled good morals and values that have become apart of who I am. I am going to get married in the Washington D.C. temple one day and try to teach these same good values to my future family.
